Founded by Monique and Gill in 2002, GGSAUTHENTIC was born out of a shared passion for fresh, wholesome cuisine and a deep respect for our Caribbean and South American roots.
Our Journey:
The story of GGSAUTHENTIC began when Monique and Gill embarked on their individual quests to find the perfect seasoning, one that echoed the vibrant flavours of our upbringings. Our paths converged over a mutual love for cooking and a frustration with the artificial, overly salty options available in the market. Together, we decided to create something truly authentic—sauces that
would evoke the warmth and richness of home with every savoury drop.
Our Products:
In our kitchens, which double as laboratories, we blend natural herbs and spices to create traditional marinades and fiery hot sauces. Each recipe is a testament to the rich traditions of our cultural heritage, and at the same passionately debating and owning “cultural superiority”, a challenge we finally settled by forging a “fusion of cultures”. Our products are meticulously crafted to be free from added sugars and sweeteners, dairy, nuts, starch, artificial ingredients and preservatives, ensuring a wholesome and authentic culinary experience.

awarded the prestigious Gold Star in 2024 by the world’s leading food and drink accreditation organisation, “The Guild of Fine Food”. The judges praised our Original Authentic Marinade, noting that it "has a hint of coriander then it is very spicy, but balanced with a little sweetness and fruity aftertaste." They also appreciated its "pleasing texture that isn't chalky or grainy as some spice
pastes can be." The marinade was described as "very fragrant, headily spiced," with a fresh, bright, and aromatic punch. While not the most complex in flavour, the judges highlighted its delightful aroma and pleasant mouthfeel.
