Hot Wings with Boozy Blu Sauce

Ingredients

  • 800g chicken wings (tips removed, split into flats and drumettes)

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 100ml GG's Authentic Boozy Blu sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • Spring onion, sliced, to garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan).

  2. Pat the wings dry with kitchen paper, then toss in a bowl with the oil, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

  3. Spread the wings out on a wire rack over a lined baking tray, skin-side up.

  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and crisp.

  5. While the wings cook, warm the GG's Authentic Boozy Blu sauce gently in a small pan with the melted butter, stirring to combine.

  6. Once the wings are done, toss them in a large bowl with the warm Boozy Blu sauce until fully coated.

  7. Scatter with sliced spring onion and serve immediately.

Serving tip: Pair with a cooling side of soured cream or a squeeze of lime to balance the heat.
